Moreover, Farmer Producer Companies (FPO) are emerging in rural India to help producers access better markets, inputs, and incomes. Madhoganj Agro FPC is creating a robust rural ecosystem through collective farming, processing, women-led ventures, and direct-to-consumer sales.
The Problem Statement : Early Trust Building
Newly formed FPO rarely face production as a bottleneck, it’s about earning trust from the community.
When Madhoganj Agro FPC was formed, the local farmers were initially reluctant. There was a lot of skepticism, due to years of reliance on traditional middlemen, and uncertainty about collective business models. Farmers were concerned about fair prices, the quality of inputs and the sustainability of the company.
To bridge this gap, FPO’s leadership team comprising Ramashrey Gupta, Vibhanshu Goswami, Vinay Gupta, Sukhbeer Yadav, Meena Devi worked more on relationship building before business. They held village-level awareness meetings, provided technical guidance and custom hiring services for agricultural equipment and set up transparent market channels.
Moreover, key highlights and expansion strategy:

Local women are leading the processing, packaging and herbal formulation, generating secondary income streams and fostering rural entrepreneurship.
FPO partners with upcoming agri-startups to sustain the momentum to introduce modern technology, scientific farming inputs and efficient logistics.
