AgriTech Startup GROWiT raises $3 Mn in Series A round

Surat-based agritech firm GROWiT has raised $3 million in its Series A round led by GVFL. Other participants in the round include Veloce Opportunities Fund, JITO, We Founder Circle, Sunicon Ventures Fund, Progrowth Ventures, and Hyderabad Angels.

The money raised will be utilized to improve GROWiT’s technological infrastructure, bolster its R&D, and increase its market presence.

Founded in 2020 by Saurabh Agarwal, GROWiT provides farmers with soil-to-harvest solutions. Mulch films, crop covers, weed mats, and a soil health testing gadget are among its offerings. By lowering input costs and increasing output, these gadgets are meant to assist farming methods.

Currently, GROWiT has over 650 franchise partners and operates in 12 Indian states. It says it has worked with over 225,000 farmers.

GROWiT founder and CEO Saurabh Agarwal added, “GROWiT aims to transform agriculture by increasing yields, cutting input costs, and driving sustainable farming, positioning us as a comprehensive, one-stop solution for farmers.”
