Gramik – A Peer Commerce Platform  Agritech Startup Raises ₹17 Cr

Gramik, a fast-growing agritech startup transforming rural commerce through its innovative Peer Commerce model, has raised ₹17 crore in a bridge funding round through a mix of Optionally Convertible Debentures (OCDs) and Compulsorily Convertible Debentures (CCDs). This round comes ahead of its ₹56 crore Series A raise, reflecting strong investor confidence in Gramik’s mission to uplift India’s 120 million small and marginal farmers.

Gramik had earlier raised over ₹20 crore in seed funding from a mix of angel and strategic investors.

The current round saw participation from a diverse and influential group of investors including: Samman Global Ventures, Money Creeper Investment, Mr. Balram Yadav, MD & CEO of Godrej Agrovet and a respected veteran of the agri industry, Gev Aryaton, a Dubai-based entrepreneur, Mr. Irfan Alam, social entrepreneur, Nikhil Bhagat, Bollywood veteran  and Salvia Siddiqui-social impact investor.

Founded by Raj Yadav, Gramik has built a dual-channel rural distribution platform enabling last-mile access to high-quality agri-inputs through a network of Village-Level Entrepreneurs (VLEs) and rural retailers. Its full-stack tech platform integrates demand aggregation, logistics, embedded credit, and agronomy — creating a trust-based commerce ecosystem in underserved rural markets.

The fresh capital will be deployed to expand Gramik’s private-label product portfolio, deepen its agronomy-led farmer engagement, and scale operations across Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Jammu.

Gramik currently operates in 12 districts, with over 1,200 active VLEs and 250+ rural retail partners. The company aims to scale to 3,000+ VLEs and engage with over 1 million farmers by next year through enhanced tech, supply chain, and agronomy infrastructure.

With its ₹56 crore Series A round on the horizon, Gramik is poised to become a category-defining player in India’s $50 billion agri-input and rural commerce market.
